EU Region Migration to Germany

Friday, 18 September 11:19 UTC

Extended maintenance on 23 September

The scheduled maintenance that started on 23 September took longer than planned and was completed on 24 September at 13:00 CEST. During this time, MyQ Roger was temporarily unavailable and some printers experienced connectivity issues.

The region migration was completed successfully, and all our services are now running from the new region and data center. All affected services and printer connections have been restored and are operating normally.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We are migrating our EU region infrastructure from Ireland to a new location in Germany. This move is driven by capacity and stability limitations we have been experiencing in the Ireland region, which no longer meets the performance and reliability standards we require for our services.

We want to reassure customers that this is purely a regional relocation — there is no change to our cloud provider or underlying infrastructure. We remain on Microsoft Azure. However, Azure does not support retaining the same IP address range when moving to a different region, which means the IP addresses associated with our EU region services will change as part of this migration.

Minimum Supported Client Versions:

As part of this migration, the new region will enforce minimum supported client versions:

  • Desktop client 2.3.2+
  • Kyocera 24.1.5.5+
  • HP 24.7+
  • Ricoh 24.3.2+

What this means for you:

  • If you have firewall rules, allowlists, or DNS configurations that reference our current IP addresses, please update them once the new IP ranges are published, to avoid service disruption.
  • Clients running versions below the thresholds above may stop working after 23.9. Please ensure your devices and desktop clients are updated ahead of the migration.

Timeline: 23.9.2026
New IP ranges: 20.113.34.204/30

We will update this notice with further details and confirmation once the migration is complete.
